Do you want to be part of shaping our District’s story and help foster a connected, empowered and inspired community?
Imagine Uraidla is seeking nominations from community members keen to join our Committee.
We are seeking nominations for 2 General Committee positions as well as 2 Office Bearer positions in the role of Treasurer and Chair. The terms are for two years. 
You can expect:

• To be part of a committed, respectful, productive and fun Committee group

• To attend Committee meetings one evening every 2 months

• To be an active part of organising events, supporting community activities and contributing ideas

• To feel part of an inspiring movement in our District

What you’ll bring:

• For the General Committee position you need to be comfortable sharing your opinions, working in a group, and be committed to Imagine Uraidla’s values (support, connect, empower).

• For the Chair role: In the Chair role, you’d need to guide meetings with clarity and fairness, keep the group focused on its goals, and help decisions get made collaboratively. You’ll bring good communication skills, a knack for connecting people, and the ability to balance big-picture vision with practical action.

• In the Treasurer role, you’d keep a clear, accurate record of the group’s finances, prepare simple reports for the committee, and help ensure we meet our financial obligations. You’ll bring attention to detail, reliability, and confidence with basic budgeting or bookkeeping.

Imagine Uraidla is keen for Committee members to be representative of all parts of our community, and with varied interests, connections and passions.

Nominations for the positions can be made by any member of the community by 3 September.

The AGM will be held at the Uraidla Football Club Rooms on Wednesday 10 September and we will not accept nominations on the night. Find more information about the evening here.

To nominate for a Committee position, please email your contact details and a short bio to imagineuraidla@gmail.com. Please provide 3-5 sentences introducing yourself and your skill set/interests, the position you are applying for and why you would like to join the Imagine Uraidla Committee. This bio will be read aloud at the AGM prior to Committee elections.
