This year’s Best Dressed Town theme is the people that make our place.
We are showcasing our theme through scarecrows. Decorating our townships all along the route (not just Uraidla) and we would love for you to get involved.
Imagine scarecrows abseiling down CFS buildings, scarecrows picking fruit, scarecrows stuck in fences, a family of scarecrows or better still scarecrows in lycra.
On Thursday 22 January 2026, cyclists from around the world will be drawn to our towns to watch the Men’s Stage 2 Finish in the Uraidla Mainstreet. We’re expecting around 3,000 spectators and riders to embark on our towns and the opportunity to showcase our region is huge.

What can you do?
We would love you to creatively decorate your business or home with scarecrows of any shape and size (we’ve included some ideas for inspiration). Getting your staff involved is great fun.
We can’t wait to see our townships transform into a celebration of the people that make our place.
