Nominations for our Committee

Do you want to be part of shaping our District’s story and help foster a connected, empowered and inspired community?

Imagine Uraidla is seeking nominations from community members keen to join our Committee.

We are seeking nominations for up to 3 General Committee positions as well as 3 Office Bearer positions in the role of Secretary, Deputy Chair and Chair. The terms are for two years. 

General Committee roles

The Imagine Uraidla Committee is a group of committed community members who guide the direction of the organisation. Committee members meet every 6–8 weeks in the evening, sharing food and conversation before formally starting a Committee meeting at 7 pm.

Committee members bring their perspectives, energy, and commitment to our values of support, connection and empowerment.

Everyone on the Committee supports one or more of our annual activities.

Office Bearer Roles

The Chair leads meetings with clarity and fairness, keeping the group on track and connected to the bigger picture.

The Deputy Chair helps in meetings as needed, and offers support to the Chair.

The Secretary organises agendas, takes minutes and manages communication in our Inbox.

Imagine Uraidla is keen for Committee members to be representative of all parts of our community, and with varied interests, connections and passions.

Nominations for the positions can be made by any member of the community by 2 September.

The AGM will be held at the Uraidla Football Club Rooms on Wednesday 9 September, and we will not accept nominations on the night. Please complete the form on this page. The information that you provide will be read aloud at the AGM prior to Committee elections.
